ABOUT TILICHO

Eleven years of solving difficult operational problems.

We started as builders. We stayed as owners.

Over eleven years, Tilicho has helped organizations solve increasingly difficult operational problems across energy, healthcare, learning, financial services, industrial automation and autonomy.

We started by building applications. Over time, customers trusted us with systems that coordinate people, processes, devices and intelligence across entire operating environments.

Today, we continue to engineer software systems that help organizations operate, adapt and evolve as intelligence becomes an integral part of enterprise software.

Many of our strongest customer relationships were built while navigating difficult deliveries. We believe software succeeds only when the business it supports succeeds.

·THE LONG VIEW

Why customers stay.

01

Ownership

We stay until operations work.

Complex systems rarely succeed on the first attempt. We work alongside customers through adoption, stabilization, and scale.

02

Experience

Built from production, not presentations.

Our understanding comes from systems already serving users, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day operations.

03

Looking ahead

Preparing for software's next chapter.

AISDLC, agent orchestration, evaluations, and governed intelligence represent the direction we believe engineering is heading.

·OUR STORY

Why we are called Tilicho.

In October 2014, while trekking toward Tilicho Lake — one of the highest and most pristine lakes in the world — our co-founder Chandu was caught in a severe snowstorm in the Annapurna region.

For a brief period, survival felt uncertain.

Faced with the possibility that life could end much sooner than expected, he asked himself a simple question.

If tomorrow never comes, what work is worth dedicating a lifetime to?

He decided that if he made it back home, he would build Tilicho. Chandu returned safely. The trek was abandoned, and Tilicho Lake was never reached.

But the question it inspired eventually became Tilicho. Today, the name reminds us of the standards we aspire to.

  • To build with clarity.
  • To work with people we admire.
  • To create opportunities where we come from.
  • To leave systems better than we found them.
·OUR PHILOSOPHY

Craft matters.

We come from the same region as Etikoppaka, a village on the banks of the Varaha River in Andhra Pradesh, where artisans have turned wood by hand for generations — shaping it with heat, friction and natural dyes.

What is made there is unmistakably local, yet crafted with such care that it travels the world and holds its own anywhere. The authenticity of where it comes from is exactly what makes it special.

That is the idea we build on: local roots, global quality. With enough attention, patience and craft, work made close to home can meet the highest standard anywhere in the world.

Software is built differently, but the principle is the same. Enduring systems are rarely produced by speed alone — they emerge from thoughtful decisions, difficult iterations, and teams willing to stay with the work until it becomes dependable.

It is the kind of company we set out to be: proudly rooted where we are, and built to a standard that travels.

Things built to last are rarely built in haste.
